Exotic and edible fruit tree for pots and gardens. It can be eaten as a fresh fruit, in syrup, dessert and with other sugary fruit. It is decorative on pies and cakes. It is used to control diabetes and for other medicinal purposes.
Evergreen growing up to 2m with yellow and bell-shaped flowers. Oval, heart-shaped leaves. Small rounded, sweet and yellow-orangey fruit.
Direct sowing with temperatures 8ºC night/15ºC day. It grows on arid soils with a sandy and clay texture.
