SEEDS OF OENOTHERA BIENNIS - COMMON EVENING PRIMROSE

Biennial of large yellow flowers with lemon fragrance. Leafy and branched stem, with a height of 90-150cm. Ideal for erosion control. All parts of the plant -root, flowers, seeds- are edible.

It has a nocturnal bloom, they open at dusk and close at noon. It completes its cycle blooming to the second year.

Direct sowing at temperatures of 20ºC night/25ºC day. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.

Called the "gardener ham" because when cooking its root it has a taste similar to that of smoked ham.
