SEEDS OF MOUSE MELON - MELOTHRIA SCABRA

Discover this curious climbing plant native to southern North America, cultivated for its small, crunchy fruits with a flavor very similar to cucumber! Great in sauces, stir fries, and salads!

It can grow up to 1.5-2m tall. Thin stems and large oval leaves. Small yellow flowers. Striking elliptical-cylindrical light green fruits with darker stripes, which turn yellow when ripe.

Sow in seedbed in spring, at a depth of 1-3 cm and a temperature of 18-21ºC for optimal germination 20-30 days after sowing.
