Annual climber of almost 3m that produces rounded fruits at the end that taper at the top, with a very hard shell. Yellowish-white trumpet-shaped flowers that open at night. Large, oval leaves, covered with dark green hair.
It needs well-drained, moist and rich soils.
Soak the seeds in tap water for 12 hours. Drain the seeds without letting them dry and then sow. The temperatures for optimal germination will be 20/25ºC.
