The Katsura Tree is a spectacular tree very appreciated for its beautiful coloured foliage in autumn. The main curiosity of this tree is the toffee-like fragrance of its leaves in autumn! Many people surely know this specie as bonsai for all these reasons. It is found in parks and gardens near ponds.
It is a deciduous tree that can reach 30m in height with usually several trunks. It has heart-shaped leaves, dark green turning yellowish or scarlet in autumn. The pink flowers appear before the leaves.
