Shrub growing up to 3m with green lobuled, palmed and serrated leaves. Red flowers. Red edible sour-tasting berries. It grows on rich soils from dry to humid and slightly acid soils.
Direct sowing in autumn or cold stratification for 3-4 months before sowing in spring.
