Small tropical fruit with spiny horns. Tastes like a mixture of banana, kiwi and melon. Very fresh and tasty in salads. The fruits can be stored for a long period (3-5 months) at room temperature.
The fruit is orange on the outside when ripe while the pulp inside is green with white seeds. It can also be used for decoration.
The sowing takes place in spring and is harvested when the fruits begin to turn yellowish or brown.
