SEEDS OF JAPANESE BITTER ORANGE - CITRUS TRIPTERA (PONCIRUS TRIFOLIATA

Produces non-edible lemon. Used for grafts. Ornamental, hedges. A graft which tolerates cold for citrus-fruit and to create hybrids from which we obtain better quality and more productive species. Used in hedges for its ornamental shape with its attractive fruit. In some places they make sweets, seasoning and jams from this tree but not for a commercial purpose.

Deciduous tree of 4-8m of a height with egg-shaped and light-green leaves. Big aromatic and white flowers. Non edible fruit. 

It is sensitive to limestone soils and salt.

Direct sowing when delivered normally between January and March.
