Annual. 70 cm. Magenta flowers with a touch of pink, violet and white. Spear-shaped leaves. When rubbed the leaves spread a lemon scent.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 18ºC/22ºC. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
Grow best on acid, sandy and clay soils.
The leaves are used in herbal teas and with salads for its intense lemon flavor. It is interesting as a spice for dishes based on fish or chicken, as well as in pastry. It is medicinal in case of colds, fevers and respiratory problems. This plant is highly attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
