This flower is perfect in edges, flowerbeds, pots, balconies and terraces. One of the most flowering perennial plant used in groups creating beautiful flowering mats. Perfect when close to rose bushes.
Cats are attracted by its aroma so its oils are used in cats' toys. But this is not the real Catnip which botanical name is Nepeta cataria. This fragrance is also a mosquito and cockroach repellent.
Perennial, groundcover up to 30cm with clustered blue flowers in summer. Green-greyish and aromatic leaves.
It grows on sandy soils from fresh to humid ones.
Sowing in early autumn, although it can also be done in the spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
