Perennial Sage blooming in the first year of growing. 40-60cm tall. Green, heart-shaped, slightly hairy leaves Striking bright red tubular flowers gathered in spiky inflorescences.
Ideal for glower-beds, pots, cut flowers and naturalistic groups. The flowers are pollinated by butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. The rest of the birds are also attracted to their brown seeds as food.
Prefers moist and sandy or clayey soils.
Sowing with temperatures of 15/20ºC. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
