Mexican Fleabane is a perennial flowery plant forming wide mats and fast growing. It is widely used for rockery, edging and containers. Good groundcover. Medicinal. As an herbal tea it has properties to relieve gastroenteritis, diarrhea and body aches.
It is a small creeping plant about 15-30 cm tall with small white flowers when opened with a yellow center, turning pinkish-purplish afterwards. Long flowering from late spring till autumn. Green deciduous, lobed and hairy leaves next to straight stems. It grows in all types of soils preferring the rich in nutrients and organic matter.
Sow directly in the garden or in pots and planters in spring. Germination temperatures of 10ºC night / 18ºC day.
