Ornamental plant with medicinal properties usually grown on terraces, in gardens, for flowerbeds and edges. Used as a cut flower. Its medicinal properties show that it is useful in case of cold, flue, ulcer, wounds and burns and it is used to cure insect stings.
Perennial. 1m tall with typical white, pink-violet or purple-red flowers. Lanceolate leaves.
Soak the seeds in tap water for 48 hours. Drain the seeds without letting them dry and proceed to sowing.
Prefers well-drained soils.
