Perfect in rockery, flowerbeds and ground-covers. Medicinal properties. Edible flowers. It can be cultivated in pots or for cut flower. The flowers can be added fresh to salads or cooked as vegetables. Its medicinal properties are the same as the ones of Valerian. That is to say sedative, calming and antispasmodic.

This plant is a perennial of 60 cm with carmine red, scented flowers. Wide bright green and lanceolate leaves. 

Little watering and pruning after flowering. It adapts to any well drained soil.

Direct sowing in spring.Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
