Medicinal herbaceus also used for edges, rockery and gardens. It is found in woods and stony slopes as well as in gardens. Highly toxic, the plant contains the digitoxin. It has therapy properties against epilepticillenesses.
Herbaceous biennial of 140 cm. The flowers are tubular and pendent. Their form reminds of a thimble. Mixed colors of pink tones. The lower leaves are big-sized and grow in rosette.
It prefers poor, stony and moist soils.
