The Carnation is a very ornamental flower to grow in pots, edges, rockery and as cutflower.
A 60cm biennial flower with a green-bluish foliage and scented double flowers. Mix colours pink, red or white. Grows in neutral well-drained and sandy soils.
Widely used in perfumery for the fragrance of its flowers. This is a honey production species attracting bees and butterflies.
