Clary Sage
Formats
Spectacular plant for rockery and gardens. Medicinal, cosmetic and culinary properties. A good species to control erosion and for pots. Astringent, digestive, stimulating and anti-fever propertiesamong many others. The essential oil extracted is used to fix perfumes. The stems, leaves and flowers are edible. It can also be used to flavour desserts and drinks such as liqueurs and wine.
Biannual or perennial plant of 1m in height when flowering. Strong scented, lilac and long-lasting flowers. The leaves are long and wide, woollen to the touch.
Direct sowing. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
