Aromatic plant well known for its medicinal and cosmetic properties. It has anti-inflammatory, diuretic and antiseptic
Perennial reaching 2m with palmed leaves and violet clustered flowers in spring and summer. At nightfall or if the weather is bad the flowers close.
Prefers fertile and light soils.
Direct sowing in mid-March. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
