SEEDS OF COMMON MALLOW - MALVA SYLVESTRIS

Aromatic plant well known for its medicinal and cosmetic properties. It has anti-inflammatory, diuretic and antiseptic properties among others. An herbal tea with its leaves will reveal its benefits. It is a good honeybee species. It can shape blooming hedges and cover walls.

Perennial reaching 2m with palmed leaves and violet clustered flowers in spring and summer. At nightfall or if the weather is bad the flowers close.

Prefers fertile and light soils.

Direct sowing in mid-March. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
