 
						Annual. Single flowers with dark red, almost black petals. Green and compact foliage. 40cm tall. It is an indoor as well as an outdoor plant. The flowers, leaves and pods give a spicy touch to salads. Perfect for borders and pots or planters. The colour attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds.
Grows on almost any soils: peaty and well drained soils. Watering must be regular.
Direct sowing in spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
