If you want to add a striking and different touch to your garden and enjoy the scent of anise ... the Mexican Tarragon is the perfect plant!
Perennial herb up to 80cm. Leaves lanceolate with a serrated edge. Simple yellow disc-shaped flowers. When the plant is crushed, it gives off an anise flavor and aroma.
In traditional medicine, it is used as an infusion for discomfort of the digestive system such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc. The flowers can be used as a natural dye of mustard color. In Mexico, it is widely used for the cocoa drink and as a condiment in the kitchen.
Sow from march to May.
