Annual of 80cm with clustered flowers which heart is blackish and surrounded by petals. Mixed colours from yellow to orangey reddish. Lanceolate and serrated leaves.
Prefers dry soils. It is found in woods, meadows and along paths.
Direct sowing in spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
