A perfect flower for edges, rockery and pots, very showy for its flowering. It is a good groundcover and hardy plant.
Annual plant of 30cm with simple, big flowers. Mixed colors from cream, orange, yellow and pink. The flowers close during the night and if it is not sunny. The leaves are thin and green.
It prefers well-drained, dry and sandy soils. Leaves and wilted flowers should be removed for a constant flowering. Excessive watering could rot the roots.
Direct sowing in spring. Temperatures 18ºC night/25ºC day. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
