Showy flower for edges, rockery and pots. The seeds are diuretic, aphrodisiac and stimulating. It has once been used as herbal tea against cancer and bites of poisonous animals.
Annual. 35 cm. Double flower. Mixed colours including white, cream, purple and yellow.
Prefer peat soils from neutral to basic and fresh ones.
Direct sowing in spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
