SEEDS OF CATNIP - NEPETA CATARIA

Aromatic plant with medicinal and culinary properties. Perfect in edges, flowerbeds and pots. It has digestive, antidiarrhea and sedative properties. The essential oil replaces lemon balm. It is a useful condiment for culinary preparations. Honeybee. Attractive to cats, the aroma makes them relax as well as it can stimulate them. It seems that this effect is only for he-cats.

Perennial plant of 20-40cm with soft green-greyish leaves. Lavender round leaves. Spreading the same fragrance as mint. It is also called at’s Mint among other names. It grows in sandy soils from fresh to humid ones.

Direct sowing in early autumn, although it can also be done in the spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
