Aromatic plant used for centuries in the making of perfumes and cosmetics. Essential oils used in pharmaceutical and food industry. Medicinal and culinary plant. Excellent bee-plant. Ornamental plant to can be cultivated in edges, rockery and to shape low hedges. 

The dried leaves are used to flavour or decorate dishes. From its flowers preserves, jam and marmalade can be made. Essential oil used in pharmaceutical and food industry. It is stimulating and digestive. It cures respiratory and digestive diseases and headaches. 

Evergreen shrub up to 60cm. Purplish-blue or white clustered flowers. Long, hairy and aromatic leaves. It grows on clay, stony and well-drained soils

Soak the seeds in cool water for 48 hours before sowing at temperatures of 25ºC.
