The Common Agrimony is one of the 38 Bach Flower Remedies. An aromatic plant very popular for its medicinal properties. Perfect when planted near crops, slopes and trees. In old times it was said to have magical powers. It is used as herbal tea. It is used to treat dysentry, diarhrea and eye problems. It has astringent and decongestant effects and many more properties. The whole plant is useful but traditionnally the leaves and flowers are the most used parts.
Small yellow flowers. The flower spikes have a spicy apricot-like odor. The leaves are larger at the base and serrated. The whole plant is dark green with numerous soft hairs.
Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 18ºC/22ºC.
