Dwarf ornamental and medicinal plant to shape hedges on dry grounds, edges and flowerbeds in gardens. It is used in gardening for sculpture or topiary art. Medicinal properties: the brewed leaves regulate periods. It is an antispasmodic, a stomach tonic making digestion easier. The essential oil is a natural insect-repellent. The seeds help against earthworms and other intestine worms.
Evergreen up to 30-50cm with lemon-yellow button-like flowers. The leaves are downy, little and narrow looking like fine-tooth comb. The plant spreads a strong camomile fragrance.
Prefers porous and well-drained soils. Trim back after flowering to maintain a dense, compact shrub.
Direct sowing in Spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
