Evergreen low-growing erect plant which can hardly reach 50cm. Abundant and attractive white and dark-blue flowers. The leaves are sessile, aleternate.

Place the seeds in boiling water at 90º for 5 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the direct sowing.
It prefers dry soils. Adapts to basic and no carbonate soils.
It is found on the coastline and on dunes. As a herbal tea it has medicinal properties. It cures rash and itch. It treats haemorrhoids and it is a diuretic plant.
