Culinary and aromatic plant with medicinal properties for egdes, rockery and pots. The leaves are used in cooking recipes to flavour dishes. The seeds are ingredients for sweets and confectionary. The essential oil is used to make aromatic soaps.
Very scented evergreen plant of almost 60cm with clustered lilac flowers from June to September. Litttle oval and green-greyish leaves. It prefers clay, fertile and well drained soils.
