In cooking recipes it is used to season salads, game and mushrooms. It tastes a little spicy. The fresh and dry leaves can be used as an insect and snails repellent. Evergreen small shrub up to 30-60 cm with hermaphrodite deep blue flowers. Lanceolate leaves and bright red or orangey berries. Intense aroma.
