PLANTS OF HORIZONTAL ROCKSPRAY - COTONEASTER HORIZONTALIS

Ornamental shrub for parks and gardens. It is of a great value for its attractive fruits. Bonsai. Very showy plant for its fruits and leaves. It is a good groundcover, in rockery, along walls or in hedges. Honey production.

Small shrub with horizontal spreading easily identified by its glossy green leaves becoming orange-red in autumn. Small white-pinkish flowers with red berries reaching maturity in autumn and falling in spring.

Well-drained and poor soils.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
