PLANTS OF SILK FLOSS TREE - CEIBA SPECIOSA
Medium tree with showy pink flowers. Drought resistant, fast growing and undemanding in soils. It is cultivated in groups or in alignments or singular. In public places, it is recommended to remove the spines from the trunk at least in its lower part to avoid accidents.
Attractive tree for its curious trunk bristling with thorns and for its showy, pinkish flowers that appear after the leaves fall.
