It is an elegant ornamental tree in parks, gardens and paths. It is a bee attractive tree of great interest. Fast growing tree.
Deciduous tree up 25m tall. Hardy and fast growing.It is a rounded or oval canopy tree. The bark is slightly fissured and dark brown. The leaves are yellow green and turn to pale reddish in autumn. Its abundant yellowish-white flowers appear before or at the same time as the leaves.
Prefer deep, cool soils. The soil must not contain too much lime.
