The Japanese Maple 'Dissectum' has light green palmate leaves that turn from a slightly stronger green in summer to a strong orange to pale red in autumn. It can reach 3-4 m. as an adult.
Widely used to create bonsai, it can also be grown in pots to decorate patios and terraces. Can also be used in roof gardens, indoor gardens or small gardens.
Exposure shade to half-shade. It does not tolerate full sun and does not like dry air. Withstands temperatures down to -20ºc. Neutral to acid soils with good drainage and fertile. Moderate watering, a little more frequent in summer.
