Evergreen tree with grey to grey-green leaves. Can reach 4 to 10 m as an adult. Knotty trunk. Dark grey to brown bark, cracking in the adult tree. Dense crown. Somewhat weeping growth habit. Light yellow flowers.
Requires little water. Sun exposure. Tolerates waterlogged, saline soils and periods of flooding.
