PLANTS OF ARABIAN LILAC - VITEX TRIFOLIA PURPUREA

Widely used as an ornamental plant for hedges or for growing in pots and containers. Perfect in Mediterranean coastal gardens or in cities for their tolerance to pollution.

3-6m tall shrub with grayish-green oval leaves, perennial in warm areas and deciduous in cold areas. Small mauve flowers that are very attractive to butterflies. Fast growing.

Pruning is advisable to achieve more vigor in the plant and before new shoots begin.
