Small acacia between 4-8m, with a rounded crown and branching from the base. Its reddish bark is very attractive. Deciduous, bipinnate, small, round, dark green leaves. Abundant yellow blossom. Prominent thorns.
Perfect for shelter and fire protection, regrowing after a fire! It fixes nitrogen very well.
Its wood, bark and bark can be used as animal fodder, as well as being very useful in traditional medicine as an astringent and painkiller.
