PLANTS OF SAGE ’HOT LIPS’ - SALVIA MICROPHYLLA ’HOT

Curious sage that will conquer your garden with the originality of its flowers! This variety has two-color blooms that, when swaying in the wind, look like butterflies flying! Perfect for planters, pots or patios it also has medicinal properties.

Shrub that can reach 1m in height, vigorous and branched. Thin and elongated branches, with small oval mint-scented green leaves that turn reddish in autumn. Striking bicolor flowers with half white, half red petals resembling crimson red lips, containing nectar.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
