This aromatic rosemary is a good ground cover, and ideal for rockeries, slopes and pots or planters. It helps drive away pests so nearby plants are protected just by their presence.
Variety of low, round, creeping rosemary that spreads along the ground without forming erect branches. Height 35-40 cm and up to 60 cm wide. Short, aromatic, evergreen, silver-green, needle-like leaves. Small pale lilac blue flowers.
The leaves are used in cooking recipes to season, in marinades for oil or vinegar and as a condiment for meat. It benefits blood circulation and diminishes arterial constriction. It is efficient against minor depression and headaches if used as herbal tea.
Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
