With its compact habit, abundant flowering and easy maintenance, the flowering cherry ‘Alba Plena’ is a popular choice for gardens and landscaping.
It is used as a specimen, forming edges, hedges, clumps.
Deciduous shrub, 2 to 4 metres high. It has a spreading and rounded shape, forming a compact and dense bush. Its bark is brown and smooth. It has pure white double flowers and very intense green leaves.
Of medium growth, it prefers a sunny to semi-shaded exposure. It is hardy down to -20ºC. It prefers well-drained soils.
