Interesting Mediterranean shrub with beautiful grey-green leaves and splendid purple or pink flowers, up to 1.2m tall. Gardens, rockery, groundcover. Erosion control. It is very useful for environmental restoration.
It needs occasional watering and a yearly pruning. Prefers loamy, basic and dry soils.
