PLANTS OF BROAD-LEAVED LAVENDER - LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA

This lavender is ideal for forming groups, in pots or planters on terraces, patios and balconies. It can be used in the kitchen to flavor fish, meat, desserts, etc. Teas are also prepared with the leaves and their essential oil. Very well known in the world of cosmetics for perfumes, soaps and creams, among others.

Perennial shrub 1m tall with greenish-gray elongated and pointed leaves. Showy blue-purple flowers.

Prefers poor, sandy and rocky soils.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
