A compact, bushy shrub with superb red blooms throughout the summerIdeal as an isolated plant, mixed hedges, beds and containers.

Grows to 2m. Beautiful bronze-green to purple deciduous foliage in summer, turning to orange in autumn. Blooms in clusters of intense magenta red. The grey-brown bark, which peels off in patches, is another asset of this magnificent shrub.

Hardy. Resists urban pollution and salty winds. Annual pruning.
