Plant native to the interior of China, it is a deciduous shrub with an inverted conical aspect. Ideal for growing as an isolated specimen or in groups, in the form of a copse.
Fast growing it can reach 1.5-3m in height. In autumn, its leaves turn reddish and yellowish, making them very showy. It produces an abundant and striking pink bloom, although small in size, gathered in bunches.
No need for pruning, although it is convenient to do so at the end of flowering. Tolerates transplant.
