The Banks rose, well known in gardening, is a thornless climbing rose with abundant cascading flowers. It is ideal for covering pergolas, walls, fences or trees.
It can reach 6–10 metres if supported. It flowers once in spring, with abundant, little double white flowers. Little, green leaves that are decorative all year round in mild climates.
Fast growing. Very resistant to disease. The more sun it gets, the more it will flower, but it tolerates partial shade well. Moderate watering. Tolerates some drought once established. Needs little pruning compared to other roses. Always after flowering and never in the first 2 years,
