It is a non-invasive bamboo that can be grown singlular, in groups forming hedges, and even as a semi-hanging plant. Very versatile since you can also use it to fence and make your garden a more intimate place.
Bamboo 2-3m tall that grows in dense clumps with a 0.3-1.5cm culm. Long stems that are reddish at birth, later turning green. Numerous thin, elongated, evergreen, lance-shaped, glossy green leaves.
It is advisable to prune it to control its size and give it the shape that we like best, as well as encourage the growth of new leaves and stems.
