The best ornamental tree to grow isolated, for hedges or banks. Very appreciated for the orange-copper color of its new leaves, which later turn golden-yellow in autumn. It is grown on walks, paths and slopes. Beautiful bonsai.
Deciduous tree that reaches 20m and is fast growing. Serrated and oval leaves of an intense dark green color. Greenish yellow flowers. Its reddish fruit is similar to a cherry and has a sweet taste.
Edible fruit. Jams. It has astringent, antidiarrheal and anti-hemorrhagic properties.
Dig a hole that is at least twice as wide and deep as the plant's root ball. Crumble and remove the soil effectively: this will facilitate rooting. Remove the plant from the container and carefully cut the roots that have been broken by slightly loosening the root ball. Mix the soil removed with substrate and fill part of the hole with this mixture. Place the plant in the hole, cover it with the rest of the mixture and compact the soil around the root ball, treading it carefully. Water abundantly.
