A different, striking and curious touch is what you will get in your garden, with this this snowy Juneberry! Perfect for forming hedges or as an isolated specimen. With its flowers and leaves it will not go unnoticed!
Deciduous, highly branched shrub up to 5m. Leaves slightly toothed purple in spring, dark green in summer and orange in autumn. Precious, fragrant and abundant white star-shaped blooms, followed by dark red berry-like fruits that turn purple when ripe.
Its fruits are eaten and you can make jams, cakes, sauces, etc ... as they have an apple flavor. Very attractive to birds and bees.
Prune to remove old branches in early winter or after flowering.
Dig a hole that is at least twice as wide and deep as the plant's root ball. Crumble and remove the soil effectively: this will facilitate rooting. Remove the plant from the container and carefully cut the roots that have been broken by slightly loosening the root ball. Mix the soil removed with substrate and fill part of the hole with this mixture. Place the plant in the hole, cover it with the rest of the mixture and compact the soil around the root ball, treading it carefully. Water abundantly.
