This foliage plant germinates and develops quickly, becoming an attractive, bushy, medium-sized palm, sporting many dark green, bipinnate leaves with fishtail-shaped leaflets that are unique to Caryota.
It will grow in nearly any frost-free climate from warm temperate to tropical.
