Ornamental flowering plant. Ideal in edges, flower bunches, flowerbeds and cut flowers. Used in traditional Chinese medicine to reduce fever, against infections and haemorrhage.
Flower plant growing up to 80cm. Large, pink, aromatic flowers.
Prefers well-drained, basic and fresh soils.
It needs regular watering and a more abundant one if it is planted open-ground. It does not tolerate transplantation. Sensible to phid, red spider, grey caterpillar infestations… and other diseases such as chlorosis and virosis among others.
